The idea for the course hub emerged from my personal experience. When I first moved to the USA, I faced significant challenges in making connections and understanding the courses. It was a tough period, but after a year of effort and persistence, I managed to find good friends and a supportive instructor who helped me navigate through the difficulties.
This experience made me realize the importance of having a centralized resource—a course hub—that could assist students in similar situations. Such a hub could provide guidance on course selection, offer study resources, and facilitate connections with peers and mentors. The goal is to make the transition smoother for new students and to foster a supportive community that promotes academic success and personal growth.
The course hub is creating with the vision of addressing these needs, ensuring that students have access to the right tools and support from the beginning. By sharing my journey and the challenges I overcame, I hope to inspire others to contribute to and benefit from this resource, making it a valuable asset for the academic community.
